Description

The Role

Starting in September 2018, you will be recruited as an Estate Management Graduate, and will complete a structured 6 week induction to the business before focusing on your role.   During the two years of the programme you will work mainly in our offices learning the art and science of estate management, but also spend 6 week placements in broader business departments (commercial, technical and business development) to gain an insight into the wider business.  In addition you will attend graduate programme days at our head office in Tamworth and around the business.  You will also complete the Institute of Leadership and Management’s Level 2 Award in Team Leading as an introduction to the world of management and we will support your progress towards professional membership.

Skills & Experience

Candidates will have graduated in 2017 or be graduating in 2018 and have gained or be predicted to gain at least a 2.1 in a construction related degree such as architecture, civil or structural engineering, building or construction management.  A CIOB or RIBA approved degree course would be an advantage.

Successful candidates will have achieved high academic standards as well as being able to demonstrate a passion and commitment for a career in the construction industry.  We will be looking for evidence of leadership skills, ability to work in a team, and a commitment to excellence.

Desirable attributes:

  • Knowledge of or interest in the affordable housing sector;
  • Experience within an office / site / construction environment;
