Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated construction professionals.
We are looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors who have at least 2 years’ experience the main contracting market.
Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £500k and £10 million is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
As an assistant quantity surveyor you will:
- Assist the Senior Surveyor to carry out quantity surveying duties in conjunction with other team members and provide effective financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated.
Already experienced as an assistant quantity surveyor you will be educated to BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject. You will have awareness and experience of construction methods, technology, standard forms of measurement and forms of contract, and health and safety requirements and you will understand and follow laid down procedures for example standing orders and financial regulations.

The South West Team has completed some exceptional projects in recent years, including a number of varied schemes at The University of Exeter and just completing a number of Schools, to name but a few. With a full order book for 2018, we are looking to continue and exceed the performance witnessed in 2017.
