Activities range from small works and repair and maintenance, to the design and delivery of complex construction and engineering projects where it is able to provide specialist design, tunnelling, utilities, building, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical services. The company operates across the commercial, defence, education, energy, healthcare, industrial, leisure, retail, transport and water markets. 

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor within our business, you will assist the project surveyor to carry out quantity surveying duties in conjunction with other team members and provide effective financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated. Some key responsibilities will include, 

  • Undertake costing activities, under direction, utilising a sound working knowledge of the cost coding structure for the project
  • Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policy
  • Monitor and ensure that full payment is received for all work claimed and certified
  • Liaise with customer representatives and other members of the team to ensure effective communications and a cohesive working environment
  • Ensure that the quality management processes are cascaded and duly acted upon.
