Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Aviation business for an ambitious and talented Site Supervisor (Maintenance) within the Q6 Framework at Heathrow Airport. 

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of around 200 employees who are passionate and dedicated. 

We are looking for Site Supervisors (Maintenance) to commence work on the Cargo Tunnel Maintenance Contract. The Site Supervisors will be required to work a shift pattern of 4 nights on, 4 nights off. The role will involve supervising operatives and sub contract staff. 

The right applicant will be required to demonstrate their qualifications and experience in Electrical Management, and be able to lead by example in regards to site safety, and challenging unsafe working.

Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor you will:

  • Support the Senior site supervisor and the Project team in developing, implementing and delivering robust contract processes and procedures in order to deliver the contract effectively
  • Assist the management team in developing people performance targets and ensuring they are delivered
  • Ensure site teams meet contract specifications including all health and safety requirements
  • Lead and support employees and those working with us in pursuit of achieving our 100% Safe goal and fully support our Perfect Delivery philosophy
  • Ensure teams understand and comply with all the relevant legislation and function efficiently and effectively
  • Perform regular reviews with teams to ensure performance is optimised
  • Provide sufficient and timely supervision, assessment and coaching to ensure operatives are performing to agreed production levels

 

As a Site Supervisor, you will hold the following as a minimum: Formal BS7671 Qualification, IPAF, PASMA, SSTS or equivalent, Asbestos Awareness, ECS/CSCS/JIB card, IOSH or equivalent in Managing Safely, NVQ Management Level 3 or equivalent (preferable or working towards), BTech 3 (electrical), C&G level 2 and 3, First Aid

About the Heathrow Team:

Morgan Sindall is 1 of 4 Delivery Integrators working at Heathrow Airport within the Q6 Framework.  Our works are focused around the Airside / Landside Lot and cover a large portfolio of projectors working at Heathrow Airport within the Q6 Framework.  Our works are focused around the Airside / Landside Lot and cover a large portfolio of projects that include civil engineering, mechanical and electrical and building works throughout the footprint of Heathrow Airport.  We have a long history of successfully delivering works at Heathrow Airport and our reputation has been founded upon this.  We have over 200 employees, including a direct labour force delivering these projects and a well-developed and trusted supply chain.  We have a plan for long term growth year on year and this is underpinned by our recruitment programme, including experienced managers, a graduate recruitment process and also strengthening of our self-performing capabilities through investment in apprentices.  Looking forwards there is even greater opportunities at Heathrow Airport within the next expansion plans and further afield the 3rd runway development.
