Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Senior Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.
We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.
Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.
We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.
Responsibilities:
As a senior project manager, you will
- Successfully manage allocated multidisciplinary projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion,
- Delivering work that meets project requirements,
- Customer satisfaction in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards.
Already experienced as a senior project manager, you will have worked on leisure facility projects and ideally experience of working on 2 part tender and NEC contract frameworks. You will be educated to degree or HNC/HND level in a relevant technical discipline. You will have proven experience of working with and managing contractors within a traditional construction project and you will have a good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance.
About the North West team:
The North West Team are currently involved in a number of high profile projects within the Greater Manchester and Merseyside regions. Recent successes include the Priority Schools Building Programme, Liverpool Schools Investment Programme and the new BUPA Headquarters at Media City, Salford Quays. We have also been awarded a number of projects under the North West Construction Hub Framework including the new Operational Command Centre for Merseyside Police, Manchester Metropolitan University’s Arts & Media Building, Alder Hey NHS Trust’s Institute in the Park and most recently a fantastic opportunity to deliver some schemes in the heart of Liverpool at Paddington Village.
