Role: Team Leader (Small Works)

Salary & benefits: up to £40,000 plus benefits 

Based: London

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, void property refurbishments, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our business, with specific responsibility for a small works contract in London.  You will have experience in leading a team undertaking the full range of reactive maintenance and associated activities from conception through to completion. You will deliver work that meets the project requirements, customer satisfaction, SHEQ standards and in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards.

All team members are expected to contribute to the delivery of excellent operational performance and championing a ‘perfect delivery’ service.  This will require building relationships with both directly employed and subcontracted resources, ensuring with the goal to deliver cost effective, high quality customer focussed outputs.

You'll Influence profitability and basic budget management, S,H&E management, contract compliance and help maintain excellent customer relationships.

About You

You should be a customer focused individual who preferably holds SMSTS and IOSH manager qualifications.

You should also hold the following certifications; Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling and Working at Heights. Ideally you will also have Scaffold Inspection / Awareness and First Aid qualifications or certificates.

You must have experience in repairs and maintenance works within the social housing sector to be considered for this role.

You should be fully PC literate who is comfortable with MS systems such as word, excel & outlook.

Adherence to Health and Safety Standards set by the company in accordance with other regulatory bodies will be of paramount importance to you.
