Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Infrastructure business for an environmental advisor to join our long established Electricity Transmission team.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated individuals on the Electricity Transmission.

You will provide technical assistance and support on projects across the framework with regards to environmental management.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.

Responsibilities:

As environmental advisor you will be required to -

  • provide subject matter expertise
  • identify environmental risk and promote best practice solutions
  • contribute to pre-contract and work-winning
  • support the continuous improvement to environmental performance
  • provide technical support and advice to the project teams
  • undertake environmental monitoring, audit and investigations
  • deliver training and mentoring

About our energy division:

Energy

Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services.
