Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Highways business Unit for an ambitious and talented BIM Engineer to work on our Sighthill Project.
The BIM Engineer will be proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD Civils 3D, land surveying software such as n4ce and have an awareness of Level 4 BIM. They will also be need to to process point cloud data obtained via 3D scanning, UAV Photogrammetry and Lidar for incorporation into a collaborated BIM model.

Responsibilities:
As a BIM Engineer you will:
- Develop 4D, 5D and 6D capability and have an understanding of customer benefit
- Understand pricing, procurement mechanisms and integration of other disciplines into the BIM models
- Creation of 5D outputs
- Be an expert in BIM protocols and plans
- Create and maintain BIM library / BIM standards
The right applicant will have technical construction knowledge through both design and construction project phases
About the Highways Team:
Our projects encompass motorway widening, congestion relief, safety improvement and bypass schemes. Recent work includes M62 Smart Motorways, Lincolnshire’s new A1073 bypass, the A1 Improvement scheme from Dishforth to Barton in North Yorkshire, and the M74 Completion Project through central Glasgow, Scotland’s largest infrastructure scheme. Under Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) schemes, we engage with our customers as early as possible to maximise innovation, efficiency and cost savings.
