Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Highways business unit for an ambitious and talented BIM Planner to on our Highways Projects.
The BIM Planner will collaborate with Designers, BIM leads, Planners and the Supply Chain to ensure alignment and quality of 3D models and P6 plans. Provide programmes, analysis of programmes and communication within the team as required by the senior planner / planning manager during tender stage and as required by the construction manager during the construction phase.

Responsibilities:
As a BIM Planner you will:
- Work with the Planning Manager to outline the future development and application of Synchro within the project environment.
- Develop 3D programme sequences logically linking P6 with the federated model in order to create an environment which can assist in identifying and solving issues and problems in a safe and controlled environment.
- Train, develop and support Planners and others in the use of 4D.
The right applicant will have experience using Synchro and P6, and be competent using Project Management Software.
About the Highways Team:
Our projects encompass motorway widening, congestion relief, safety improvement and bypass schemes. Recent work includes M62 Smart Motorways, Lincolnshire’s new A1073 bypass, the A1 Improvement scheme from Dishforth to Barton in North Yorkshire, and the M74 Completion Project through central Glasgow, Scotland’s largest infrastructure scheme. Under Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) schemes, we engage with our customers as early as possible to maximise innovation, efficiency and cost savings.
