Responsibilities:
We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious assistant procurement manager to join our growing team in Whitehaven & Barrow In Furness.
As an assistant procurement manager you will be:
- Responsible for maximising value to Morgan Sindall through the effective procurement of subcontract packages and/or materials
- Placement of comprehensive orders that protect the commercial interests of the business.
- Responsible for ensuring that subcontractor and/or supplier performance is measured and improved.
As an experienced assistant procurement manager you will have experience in tendering and associated commercial evaluations. You will be able to evidence an understanding of subcontract and/or supplier terms and conditions.

Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.
Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA)
The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
