A new positions has arisen for a Development Co-ordinator within the East Anglia Region, based at the Norwich office.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed member of the development team, who will report directly to the Regional Technical Manager. The successful candidate will ensure Lovell carries out its contractual responsibilities for co-ordination of construction details, manage flow of design information and manage design input of specialist subcontractors. It is desirable for the successful candidate to have the ability to produce CAD drawings.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities Responsible for the control of information flow and co-ordination of design team and specialist subcontractors. Overall management of the design process. Provide technical advice as necessary and review design and specifications for alternative to provide added value. Monitor release of design information against agreed programme and manage the design interface between packages.
Required skills & experience HNC in construction or equivalent. Experience in new build design and build. Knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations and current standards and legislation. A high degree of skill in coordinating the distribution of information and value engineering of consultants designs. A proven team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision. CAD drawing capability is desirable.
