We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our growing regional business to undertake the role of Technical Manager. Reporting to the Regional Technical Director you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the effective delivery of mixed tenure residential developments from a technical discipline. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients, senior leadership within Lovell and to all levels of the business.
The role will comprise the technical management and timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects through pre start stage to physical start on site and to provide support to the build stage accordingly. In particular the candidate should be familiar with and be able to:
- Co-ordinate and manage the design team and specialist subcontractors
- Process Manage design interfaces between packages.
- Technically evaluate scheme proposals
- Appraise new building products and legislation
- Ensure planning and building control issues are addressed
All as per job profile and in particular:
- Ideally a degree qualification and/or professional membership in Building or Civil Engineering field
- Residential new build experience in both private sale and social housing markets
