About the role

As part of a successful and growing  department, you’ll provide direct support to the Manager whilst joining a team that’s been delivering industry leading design solutions for decades. Your organisational and communication skills will help you interact with internal and external contacts to deliver projects within time, quality and budget constraints. You’ll also work closely with the Senior Architects, playing an integral role in the driving of quality standards and the development of the team as a whole. 

Principal responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Production of Level 2 BIM models and drawings as instructed by BIM Modeling / Data Capture Manager
  • Support upkeep of facility “AS Built/Record” models / drawings.
  • Liaise with customer to confirm requirements.
  • Compliance with company BIM standards.
  • Understanding of Managed Services procedures and processes.
  • Application of configuration control processes.
  • Delivery to set budgets and timescales
  • Adequate exploration of appropriate and most efficient technical solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Ensure robust application of estimating methodology with regard to Service Level Indicators
  • Comply with company Health and Safety and Safe Systems of Work regulations.
  • Comply with company Security regulations.
  • Provide BIM models and drawings to support the Built Environment disciplines
  • Identify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies
  • Self-check completed drawings and models produced in-house and by contractors for accuracy and compliance to standards.
  • Ensure task documentation is maintained.
  • Attend task and change control meetings.
  • Ideally educated to HNC level or above, although primarily looking for experience.
  • Certification in use of Revit MEP, by Autodesk approved trainer
