Role: Learning & Development Advisor

Based: London (Aldgate office)

Salary: from £38,000 depending on experience

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, void property refurbishments, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Advisor to join our business based in Aldgate London reporting to the Head of HR, the Learning and Development Advisor will manage the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects as well as ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to achieve the following:

  • Work with Management team to design and develop training programme
  • Conduct organisation-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Maintain training database system and training records
  • Managing annual mandatory training calendar ensuring full completion within targeted timescales
  • Raising of purchasing requisition orders and tracking of payment
  • Co-ordinating the development and of induction for all new employees, ensuring the content is reviewed and updated continually in line with feedback received
  • Responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a range of projects and regular training events

About You 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Apprentice Management/Coordination experience is essential
  • BS degree in Training, HR or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role and ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages
  • Ability to produce reports
  • Have strong communication skills and able to communicate with others verbally and in writing
  • Excellent organisational skills
