Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented M&E Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.

Responsibilities:

As an M&E Manager, you will

  • Manage and set targets for ensuring delivery of building services design and installation to the agreed timescales
  • Ensure that the design and installation of M&E services is fully coordinated, buildable, cost effective and complies with Morgan Sindall's contractual obligations
  • Provide all necessary construction mechanical and electrical support including the management of services design and its integration in whole design
  • Manage the building services design and installation process to meet the agreed programme
  • Work closely with the Morgan Sindall project manager, design manager and commercial team and provide support to site management in relation to coordination of M&E installations
  • Assess customer documentation and requirements and ensure that it is being fully integrated into the COP and installation
  • Continuously monitor the services design and manage the information flow between the subcontractors and the consultants
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety, safe by design, quality and customer satisfactory

Already experienced as an M&E (building services) manager you will be qualified in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines.  You will have a full understanding of detailed M&E procedures and will have a good level of technical and professional expertise.  You will have the ability to produce M&E design, installation and commissioning programmes and you will have a good level of understanding of Breeam.
