Morgan Sindall provides national construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector customers across a comprehensive range of markets. We aim to create great results for our customers, partners and ourselves.

Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious project director to join our growing Thames Valley team based in Slough.  The initial project will be a significant residential development of 280 new homes in high density development. This project will be the first in a number of major residential developments delivered for Slough Council through our Slough Urban Renewal platform (https://www.slough-thinkingforward.co.uk/)

As our project director you will be responsible for the overall leadership, direction, management and supervision of multi-disciplinary projects to marke leading health and safety standards. You will be ultimately responsible for delivering projects to  time, cost and quality targets and provide strategic planning, leadership and support to project operations.  You will be required to implement a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified.

Already experienced as a project director you will have a proven track record of leading and delivering large and complex construction projects with minimal supervision required. Our model is to decentralise decision making as far as possible, so you will be given responsibility and accountability for delivering project outcomes.

You will report directly to our Operations Director

About the Slough Team:

The Slough office is a newly formed division created to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council, by creating a new Thames Valley, Surrey, and West London business unit. The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to almost 80 people, and is focused on early stage project management to create efficient solutions for customers. see http://www.slough-thinkingforward.co.uk/ for more information.
