Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction & Infrastructure business for an ambitious and talented Senior Design Engineer within our MSES business.
As the Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for organising or undertaking design and checking work or providing other professional services as required. You may act as Project Manager for small or moderate commissions and manage a project team. You will provide technical advice to team members, clients and other MSES team members. Contribute to the management of MSES through attendance at appropriate forums. Reports either to the Discipline or Sector Lead or the Associate/Principal Engineer for that Sector or Discipline.

The Person:
- Proven record of involvement of heavy RC civils and permanent works
- Team player and open to new ideas
- Flexible and adaptable to work within deadlines
- Good communicator and ability to stand on behalf of MSES
- Able to work with a variety of professionals and demonstrate initiative
Responsibilities:
- Must ensure high standards are maintained from self, direct reports and other members of the MSES team.
- Must endeavour to continuously improve own knowledge and performance and that of direct reports.
- Attendee and contributor to the Quarterly Engineering Forum.
- Responsible that high quality and engineering standards are maintained for all
- works under their control.

Morgan Sindall Engineering Solutions (MSES) is an engineering consultancy within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, we specialise in providing; multi-sector temporary works design, underground permanent works design (tunnels & shafts), expertise across digital, material and geotechnical engineering and design management services. We have five offices across the UK; Rugby, Stafford, Salford, London and Motherwell. We currently work across a number of sectors including; Highways, Nuclear, Energy, Water, Aviation and Rail & Electrification.
