About The Role
We are currently recruiting for an electrician to join our business, with specific responsibility for a contract in Dumfries & Galloway.  You will undertake electrical testing in Domestic / Communal areas and carry out associated remedial works identified. This would also include the installation of smoke detectors with all relevant certification to be completed on a daily basis. 
You will deliver work that meets the project requirements, customer satisfaction and in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards.
All team members are expected to contribute to the delivery of excellent operational performance and championing a ‘perfect delivery’ service. This will require building relationships with both directly employed and subcontracted resources, ensuring with the goal to deliver cost effective, high quality customer focussed outputs.


About You
You should be a customer focused individual with a passion for completing a high quality repair on time and at the first visit it is desirable that you have previous experience in social housing.

You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails throughout the contract.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards set by the company in accordance with other regulatory bodies will be of paramount importance to you.
This post has a minimum requirement for the following:

  • Must have Level 3 qualification in electrical installation work e.g. C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365
  • Inspection and testing qualification e.g. C&G 2391, 2394 + 2395
  • 18th Edition – training will be provided
  • Valid Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height and Manual Handling
  • Must have full UK driving license 
  • Own tools - all battery or 110v only (no 240v)

Full UK driving licence held for minimum 12 months
