Based in Tamworth but with a national remit, this role will help develop our responsible Business Strategy to meet the needs of the regional Business units whilst complementing our wider Group objectives.  You will ensure sustainability data is received & reported on accurately & on time, as well as engaging with our project teams, regional units & Group to develop improvement strategies & capture best practise.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A degree in a Sustainability or related subject
• Outgoing personality with a flair for communication & engagement
• Familiarity with basic sustainability concepts, carbon, water & waste reduction programmes
• Experience of setting strategies & measuring performance
• Enthusiasm, attention to detail and a desire to learn and develop


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


A. Interface with all departments/business units/sites to drive our total commitments to sustainability including presenting where appropriate at new starter induction sessions.

B. Input on responsible business aspects of tender submissions/PQQ etc

C. Promote culture of sustainability through the Total Commitments via regional workshops, intranet information and continuous improvements.

D. Update and issue up to date policies and reports to all workplaces.

E. Produce and issue monthly, quarterly and annual reports – both internally and externally to Morgan Sindall Group.

F. Attend Group forums to represent Lovell.

G. Chair internal sustainability forum meetings.

H. Maintain ISO 14001 system within LIMS.

I. Collate data for CEMARS, CRC, ESOS, and other similar as appropriate.

J. Develop annual responsible business strategies that meet the needs of the business & wider Group.
