The person:
We are looking for a Works Manager with a wealth of Civils knowledge. The Works Manager will be responsible for the coordination and safe management of all operational site activities ensuring Perfect Delivery, SHEQ, programme and budget requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
As the Works Manager you will:
- Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
- Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)
- Ensure all company, customer and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to
- Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
About the Project:
Morgan Sindall have been awarded the £15million contract for the transformation Old Street Roundabout under Transport for London’s Civils Projects Framework. The two stage design and build contract supports TfL’s £4billion Roads Modernisation Programme, delivering the enhancement and refurbishment of tunnels, bridges and other structures across Greater London’s road network. The project aims to significantly upgrade facilities for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport by providing segregated cycle lanes, more bus lanes and more pedestrian space.
About the Highways Team:
Our projects encompass motorway widening, congestion relief, safety improvement and bypass schemes. Recent work includes M62 Smart Motorways, Lincolnshire’s new A1073 bypass, the A1 Improvement scheme from Dishforth to Barton in North Yorkshire, and the M74 Completion Project through central Glasgow, Scotland’s largest infrastructure scheme. Under Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) schemes, we engage with our customers as early as possible to maximise innovation, efficiency and cost savings.
