Location: Flexible Nationwide. Main locations: London, Rugby, Swynnerton or Salford Quays. However we do have satelite offices Nationally.

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Infrastructure business for an ambitious and talented CAD/Digital Technician to work within our MSES Business Unit.
As a CAD technician you will work within a multi-disciplined design team to actively contribute to the success of a specialist design business with a reputation for innovation that delivers the highest quality comprehensive design service.

Responsibilities:
As a CAD Technician you will:
- Promote and achieve Perfect Delivery throughout the team.
- Liaise with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve fully
integrated, safe and buildable engineering solutions to the customer brief.
- Manage own performance and assist the training of junior members of the BIM
- CAD team from a technical and operational perspective.
- Ensure quality of delivery when producing CAD models drawings to internal
and customer standards.
- Follow processes for checking the accuracy of deliverables produced by the
- BIM CAD team.
- Be responsible for own production and quality of modelling and drawing
deliverables in accordance with standards and procedures.
- Work closely with other Morgan Sindall companies to promote knowledge
sharing and consistency of CAD tools and techniques.
- Report to BIM and CAD management team to ensure that resource
requirements are utilised efficiently.
- Develop positive relationships with customers
The right applicant will have experience on key sectors – Highways, structures, rail, and buildings. Ideally the candidate will have career experience in delivering construction projects or working in a design environment.
Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent) and knowledge of BIM process and methods.is also required.

Morgan Sindall Engineering Solutions (MSES) is an engineering consultancy within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, we specialise in providing; multi-sector temporary works design, underground permanent works design (tunnels & shafts), expertise across digital, material and geotechnical engineering and design management services. We have five offices across the UK; Rugby, Stafford, Salford, London and Motherwell. We currently work across a number of sectors including; Highways, Nuclear, Energy, Water, Aviation and Rail & Electrification.
