Description

LOVELL London are seeking ambitious and self-motivated experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors, from a Main Contractor and developer background, to join their growing business.  Reporting to a Commercial Manager, the roles will provide key commercial support on some of our most prestigious residential schemes in and around Greater London.  Ideally you will hold a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying and MRICS and/or MCIOB preferred but not essential.

You will be responsible for the day to day financial and cost control, and reporting on one or more developments up to and including completion of client and sub-contractor final accounts, recovery and discharge of all retentions and completion of archive material.  Applicants should ideally be currently employed in the new build housing sector working on multiple phased schemes, with experience of all forms of construction.  New build residential & commercial, main contract and developer experience preferred.

You will be dealing with all aspects of pre-construction and post contract commercial processes and have experience of working on traditional new build and RC frame projects.

The successful candidates will need to be able to evidence their ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet have the skills to fit in as part of an integrated site team.  They will also need to be comfortable dealing directly with clients, as well as being competent at managing all commercial aspects of a construction project.  They must have a working knowledge of the JCT form of contract.  Man management experience desirable.
