Role: Team Leader 1 (Working Forman)

Based: Dumfries

Salary: £25,000 - £26,500 per annum plus benefits

Our main areas of expertise include: building management systems, day-to-day responsive repairs, void property refurbishments, programmed maintenance, and electrical and gas installations, servicing and repairs.

 

About The Role 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader with a contract in West Yorkshire reporting to the Project Manager, the role will require you to be the first line day to day project/ work stream implementation lead on all reactive maintenance and service programmes in a timely and safe manner in accordance with Company policy and procedures. Influence profitability and basic budget management, S,H&E management, contract compliance and help maintain excellent customer relationships.

 

The position includes a company van, fuel card, uniform and PDA / mobile phone, all training is provided to help you do the job to the best of your ability.

 

About You 

Candidates must have proven experience in social housing, void & planned works and responsive repairs, and have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships and have had supervisory experience.

 

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with your team. You will ensure best practice prevails throughout the contract's activities.

 

You should be a customer focused individual with the, as a minimum, qualifications:

 

Asbestos awareness, Manual handling and Working at height.

 

The following qualifications would be desirable; an IOSH or SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
