Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Nuclear, Energy and Water business for an ambitious, driven individual who is a Quantity Surveyor based at a new site in the Dorset area.
The candidate will be a commercially astute individual with good negotiation skills, and ideally have previous commercial experience being involved on and looking for the next step or running a £20million plus civils project.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the commercial team on this Energy project you will manage and support commercial matters for the project including
- Procurement
- Financial performance, including forecasting, profit / loss, cash flow, etc.
- Contract compliance
- Meeting / liaison with client / subcontract / supply chain as necessary
- Support to Central Work Winning team on future opportunities
About our Energy business
Energy sits within our Nuclear, Energy and Water business
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services.
