Description

Due to the growth plans and expansion of the Lovell South Wales and South West of England Region we are currently seeking to appoint an experienced, proactive and highly motivated forklift driver to join our New Build Operational Team on our project at Cot Farm, Ringland, Newport.

The successful applicant will report to the Site Team and will be responsible

For the following

  • Managing materials and storage areas in line with Lovell and NHBC standards
  • Waste champion in segregating the correct waste into the correct skips in accordance with CEW guidelines
  • Managing clean up and work with site managers to ensure all tip skips have no mixed rubbish
  • General cleanliness of the site compound
  • Daily checks of all machinery and equipment in use and ensure it is to Lovell standards
  • Daily recording of mortar remaining and managing refills on silo’s
  • Ensure no cars allowed on site and co-ordinate with site managers
  • Managing deliveries and storage container materials onto site and manage MRN’s to get to office
  • Excellent forklift driver with a can-do attitude.
  • Work around busy times on site

The successful candidate will need to display a passion for working within a team.

Health & safety standards are paramount and responsibilities include adherence to business management systems, NHBC standards and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The role requires development of positive relationships with the Cot Farm team with strong focus on Service Delivery and Client satisfaction.

The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in a similar role, with experience of managing activities for the forklift driver on similar housing projects We are looking for assertive and confident individuals who are proactive, flexible and able to take ownership for their work, combined with the ability to develop strong management and communication skills.
