We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced Project Director to head up the prestigious regeneration Whiteheads Project in Newport. The role will be site based, leading the team and overseeing all elements of the project including Operations and Commercial, with a key emphasis on Client Focus, delivery to programme and Right First Time. We are seeking an individual with both Commercial and Operational experience, with excellent leadership skills, and able to work alongside the Leadership Team of Lovell SW & SW.
The successful applicant will report to the Regional Managing Director in the Lovell SW & SW Region and will be responsible for leading and managing the Whiteheads Team. Driving delivery of quality, on time, to budget and safely is essential. The role requires development of positive relationships with both internal and external customers and clients, with a focus on Service Delivery and Client and Customer Satisfaction.
The successful candidate will require the drive and ambition and ability to work strategically to deliver a successful project.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record at a Director level in both Commercial and Operations, with experience of overseeing a variety of housing projects. The role will require the candidate to have the ability to work to clear deadlines and to the high standards expected by Lovell. A sound knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC standards and Health & Safety legislation is essential.
