Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Highways business for an ambitious and talented Project Manager within the Joint Venture Fusion for HS2.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals.
The Project Manager will successfully manage allocated multidisciplinary projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion, delivering work that meets project requirements, customer satisfaction and in accordance with Morgan Sindall & Fusion standards.
We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.
The Person:
- Proven community and stakeholder Engagement skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, Residents, Commercial and Public Organisations as well as the client and in house teams
- Commercially astute, Proven Delivery of Design and Construct projects > £5m in value managing the supply chain under NEC Option A or C
- Educated to degree level, with post qualification experience, some of which should have been gained working in a similar sector -Highways and Utilities. Works include highway junction upgrades
- Temporary works experience / knowledge an advantage
- Excellent communication, personal planning and interpersonal skills
About the Fusion Team:
Fusion (a joint venture of Morgan Sindall, BAM Nuttall and Ferrovial Agroman) has been awarded the Central package of HS2’s three enabling works contracts, (South, Central and North).
The contract includes the early preparatory work needed ahead of the main civil engineering work for the scheme, including archaeology, site clearance and setting up construction compounds. The contract will be worth up to £100m to Morgan Sindall Group over a period of four years.
