About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager (Planned Works) with specific responsibility for contracts within the St.Albans area. Reporting to the National Operations Director the role will require the successful candidate to provide direction and leadership to the operational team across a number of planned projects.

Managing both directly employed and subcontracted resources, ensuring they are managed and motivated to deliver cost effective, high quality customer focussed outputs

About You

Candidates must have proven experience in significant planned projects, managing the development and performance of all aspects of contract operations. Candidates will also have a strong track record of maintaining and building strong customer relationships and managing multi-site workforces.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all members of the Regional and Senior Management Teams. You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and ensure best practice prevails throughout the Region’s activities.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of operating at Operations Manager level or above with a track record of successfully delivering planned works schemes within the social housing sector, on time, on budget and with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

You may have experience of the following: HS&E, Commercial Awareness Management, Project Strategy, Commercial Issues, Construction, Building Management Systems, Procurement, Risk Management, Sub-Contract co-ordination.

 

Full or Autimatic UK driving licence held for minimum 12 months
