About The Role

The purpose of the role is to help with repairs in residential and commercial properties that the owners can't complete on their own, such as general maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, renovations, landscaping, repair of walkways and exteriors, snow removal and yard care, testing and maintenance of HVAC systems, monitoring inventory and ordering cleaning and/or repair supplies for commercial building owners, and any other assigned tasks.

Main duties will be;

  • Changing lightbulbs or repairing wiring and fuse boxes
  • Maintaining and installing new landscaping
  • Repairing cracks in sidewalks or driveways
  • Performing basic repairs of the furnace, air conditioning, and/or plumbing
  • Perform renovations of their living space
  • Complete repairs that may not require a specialised technician
  • Complete simple projects such as tiling or other flooring replacement
  • Maintain the exterior throughout the seasons
  • Clean out rain gutters
  • Remove fallen branches or other parts of the landscaping
  • Maintain aspects of HVAC system by changing filters and performing routine maintenance and inspection

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience in Performing Various Tasks around Residential and Commercial buildings, Attention to Detail, Willingness to Learn to use Specialised Tools and Equipment, License and Bonding as required in some states (which may include a requirement to take an exam to show proficiency in certain trades and skills), and a Desire to Work with Customers and accommodate requests.

Candidate must hold relevant trade City and Guilds qualifications.

Full or Automatic UK driving licence held for minimum 12 months
