Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Nuclear Energy Water business for an ambitious and talented Senior Business Development Assistant.

This role is support and facilitate the implementation of Morgan Sindall’s business development strategy within Nuclear|Energy|Water entailing developing and maintaining a network of contacts with customers, designers, specialist consultants, suppliers and colleagues internally to position Morgan Sindall to bid and secure projects and frameworks as required on a national basis.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Development Assistant you will:

  • Work with Specialist Operational Directors and Senior Leadership team to develop a clear set of plans and activities at Business Unit, Sector and Customer level to promote the Morgan Sindall brand in the Nuclear|Energy|Water sectors and support Morgan Sindall in achieving agreed financial objectives in those sectors
  • Proactively build a strong network of contacts in the market place and across Morgan Sindall Group and support senior leaders in Morgan Sindall in developing relationships with key influencers in the Nuclear|Energy|Water sectors to support work winning
  • Support the Precontract Team in developing and managing a pipeline of opportunities and ensure that the Microsoft CRM database is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work alongside the Precontract Team to develop, agree and implement win themes and plans for PQQ’s and Tenders for key contracts and framework for Nuclear|Energy|Water projects whilst building commitment from the business unit to the bid strategies.
  • Monitor the market place/trends and keep abreast of market needs and conditions via trade press, events, customer meetings and any other mediums felt appropriate.
  • Provide market intelligence and other commercial information, on competitors and potential customers in Nuclear|Energy|Water sectors
  • Work with senior leaders in Morgan Sindall Nuclear|Energy|Water in developing a plan to build relationships with key influencers to support work winning
  • Support the delivery of Morgan Sindall key account and account management strategies for named customers. Understand the customer’s needs and provide appropriate reporting information
  • Work with other Morgan Sindall Group companies to deliver a consistent joined-up approach to the market and key customers
  • Support the Precontract Team in maintaining a database of templates, CVs, project profiles, images and where appropriate standard responses for development of winning submission documents and presentationsAbout the Nuclear|Energy|Water Team:
