A bit about the role

To work closely with the Telesales Team, Southern Sales Team and Southern Networker. Build our knowledge and understanding of Companies and Leads, with a view to the Telesales agent booking an appointment for the Southern Sales Team.  

A Lead will come in from the Networkers with the following minimum information.

  1. Company Name,
  2. Location of Requirement,
  3. Size of Requirement.

The Networker will always try and obtain more information, such as any acquiring agents, client contacts, timescales and any buildings that are being viewed and shortlisted.

The Researcher will Research the company and find the Company Address, Phone Numbers, email address, appropriate names of decision makers, any history that we have on the company or individual and any work that we have completed with similar sector companies. The contacts are typically at MD or FD Level.  Larger companies may have a property department.  We should aim for the most senior contact, as it is easier for the telesales callers, to be passed down the chain, than starting at a low level and working upwards.  It is useful to use social media such as LinkedIn to see an individual’s past employment, who they know.

The Researcher will confirm the accuracy of the Lead and add it to the database.  A Call will then be set up for the telesales caller and pass feedback to the networker.

Once the appointment has been booked and confirmed by email to the potential client, to provide any background information, supporting documentation and address to the Sales team and Networker.

After the appointment has happened, liaise with the sales team and agree the next stages, so that Morgan Lovell keeps open a dialog with the individuals, especially if the potential Project is not imminent.
