As a Summer Placement within our business, the main purpose will be to ensure you gain a clear understanding of what a career in Construction could entail and to give you hands on working experience in the Industry. Some aspects will be,

 

  • To be able to take a simple brief and act on it
  • Provide all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work a part of a team
  • Provide general support to the team
  • Presentable and articulate

 

Our Vacation Placement Programme

We offer vacation placements for any duration between four to twelve weeks, usually in the summer.  The vacation placement will give you a valuable insight into the work we do.  You willl be assigned to a project or placed in an office where you can support our day-to-day operations.  You will have a dedicated supervisor who will work with you to ensure you get the best from the placement.

 

What you’ll gain 

You’ll gain valuable experience by working on real projects and alongside graduates and experienced professionals.  Upon completion of the placement you could leave with an offer of sponsorship for your remaining years at university as well as the opportunity to complete further placements at Morgan Sindall. 

 

What happens next?

You will be contacted by phone for an initial interview and requested to attend a face to face interview.  We also may ask you to complete a Predictive Index Behavioural Assessment prior to interview.
