We are currently seeking to appoint proactive and highly motivated Finishing Foreman to supplement our existing New Build operations team within our SW&SW region, based on various sites within the SW&SW region.
The successful applicant will report to a Site Manager and Build Manager and will have already gained experience in all areas of site production and programme, as well as material delivery and cost control. Quality and health & safety standards are paramount and responsibilities include adherence to business management systems, NHBC standards and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The role requires development of positive relationships with both internal and external customers and clients, with strong focus on service delivery and client satisfaction against project KPI’s.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have a genuine commitment to our construction sector and a desire to gain further experience in managing a supply chain and ability to work to clear deadlines. It is envisaged that a sound knowledge of building regulations, NHBC standards and Health and Safety legislation will further be enhanced. Experience of working on projects using timber frame systems is essential along with experience of open market sales projects.
We are looking for an assertive and confident individual who is proactive, flexible and able to take ownership for their work, combined with the ability to develop strong management and communication skills. Being able to deputise for the Site Manager from time to time is a prerequisite.
