The Role:
This role will cover multi-disciplined works including electrical distribution, control systems, instrumentation, mechanical services, ventilation services and civil works across a number of existing facilities on site. The works shall be delivered in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with Sellafield procedures, ISA collaborative management plans and local site arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the day to day management of internal and external engineering resources
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time, to budget and in agreement with the project requirements.
- Have a proven track record of safe and successful delivery and understanding of the processes and tools used to achieve this.
Already experienced as a engineering manager, you will be educated to degree level in the relevant field. You will be a chartered engineer and be affiliated with the institution of civil engineers (or similar). You will have senior level involvement in the provision of design management services for civil engineering design and construction in the education, defence and public & private buildings. You will also have a significant senior level involvement in large project tender teams, including price and quality adjudicated bids and an understanding of commercial aspects including typical terms and conditions and procurement models.

Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.
Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA)
The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
