We currently have a vacancy for a Buying Clerk within our Procurement Support Team based at our Tamworth Office.

As part of the Purchasing team the role will involve the procurement of materials and plant for a mixture of New Build, refurbishment, maintenance and PFI projects. The ideal candidate is expected to liaise with internal and external customers to achieve best value and ensure deadlines are met.

We are looking for a committed and driven individual with good written and verbal communication skills, able to work to short deadlines in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrate commitment to quality standards and a customer focus.

The role will be based in our Tamworth office, responding to requests for material & plant across our 7 regions, involving communication with our internal customers & external supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE qualifications & be able to demonstrate a confident manner along with good communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, some relevant experience in an office based role & be able to work well as part of a busy team.
