Salary: from £60,000 per annum

About the team

About The Role

  • Shape and drive the CSR vision, develop the CSR strategy and ensure that it is implemented across the business
  • Manage the strategic direction of social value/community investment nationally
  • CSR function lead, proving expertise in the tender process for winning new business shaping our social value and environmental offer to meet client expectations and requirements. Contribute to the writing of Bids for PQQ, ITT and BAFO, attending client meetings.
  • Representing MSPS at seminars, public speaking events, network events and industry conferences to enhance the reputation within industry and communities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Housing Association and Local Authority clients
  • Develop impactful and measurable projects that respond to local opportunities and corporate direction
  • Develop local and regional partnerships and projects to tackle social issues related to poverty and vulnerability amongst our clients’ customers
  • Manage partnerships with registered training providers and other provisions to deliver tangible outcomes that have a positive impact on the local community
  • Leading on internal and external communication
  • Manage the performance of the team, through objective setting, ongoing assessment and coaching
  • Supporting and guiding team members with the tools to drive culture change within the business and meet strategic objectives
  • Development and leadership of volunteering policy, charitable giving and employee engagement with CSR initiatives.
  • Lead and manage MSPS apprenticeship scheme
  • Lead sponsor for sustainable legacy projects including community training programmes and traineeships; BasWorx, CItyFutures etc.
  • Develop and author annual CSR report, providing direction on strategy, direction and performance
  • Lead on Environmental initiatives and strategy, aligned to MS Group Science Based Targets
  • Drive focus and work towards awards, accreditation, and external recognition for CSR achievements
  • Supply chain engagement and partnering to achieve greater social impact and sharing best practice
  • Ensure delivery of client social value commitments and agreed KPI’s

About You

  • Detailed knowledge of the Government Apprenticeship Levy, CITB and other funding routes
  • Previous CSR experience gained within a corporate environment
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Social value Act
  • Thought leadership and sound knowledge or CSR trends, policies and issues which affect our clients
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels both internally and externall
  • Excellent project management, risk management, communication, and budget management skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of social return on investment measures such as HACT and LM
  • Skilled in the development of charity partnerships and key 3rd sector relationships to support delivery
  • Detailed knowledge of the Government Apprenticeship Levy, CITB and other funding routes
  • Analytical, detail-orientated, able to use data to rationale investment and projects
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding
