Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum

About The Role

To assist the Procurement function in all administration activities and duties.

Working with the Team to ensure that the administration of purchase orders is at all times optimised. Assist with the process of timely and accurate scheduling of materials in accordance with site requirements.

  • Processing of requisitions and issue of resulting purchase orders
  • Regularly communicate updates on requisition progress to site
  • Assist with purchasing cards administration
  • Involvement with van stock maintenance
  • Assist Team members as required with ad-hoc tasks
  • Key involvement in process and service delivery improvements

Additionally:

  • Provide support to the Procurement function in achieving best value buying solutions
  • Processing of requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure P2P process is adhered to thus ensuring compliance with the Prompt Payment Code

About You

  • Previous procurement experience desirable
  • General office experience
  • Microsoft Packages – Word / Excel / Outlook
  • Administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Work in a fast paced managed environment
