This role will be part of our Foundation Programme (early careers programme) within the business, allowing the opportunity of additional training and development.

Our Foundation Programme

The Foundation Programme is our two-year training programme. It provides you with a rounded perspective of our business via rotations, training and mentoring. Getting exposure to all parts of our business is important as we want you to get to know us, our people and how we work.

The programme is driven by a structured two year training curriculum designed to develop your business and technical skills. These training sessions allow you to gain an understanding of how we operate as a business.  You will undertake rotations within construction, commercial, preconstruction, design and technical services. Additionally, you will attend training as a cohort every 6 to 8 weeks.

The programme allows you to gain understanding of how the business works and how all disciplines work together. You are given responsibility as part of the team, but also the necessary support for your development.

Upon completion of the Foundation Programme, you will go on to develop and grow your career within the business – the development and progression opportunities do not end with the programme.

What can I expect?

You will get to learn from some of the most talented, experienced and well-established people in the industry who have in depth knowledge and commitment to delivering exceptional work for our clients.

The Foundation Programme provides valuable technical experience within the industry.  It also provides you with the opportunity to build your network, both within your Foundation cohort as a support, and within the wider Overbury business.

You will expected to create your own success and make your own decisions. In return you will be well rewarded and will receive support when needed. We take your development seriously… how?

  • By giving you access to the best and most challenging jobs in the market
  • By exposing you to the most talented minds to learn from
  • By providing you formal developmental training through our Foundation Programme
  • By providing you with a natural support network in the form of your Foundation cohort, who will all be starting at a similar time.
  • By providing you with a dedicated Foundation Programme point of contact, for any queries or questions that you may have.

Our ideal candidate will be committed to a career within the fit out sector and should display the following attributes: curiosity, honesty, ambition, drive and responsibility.
