Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Nuclear Energy Water business for an ambitious and talented Pre-Contract Author.
As pre contract author you will source, collate, and write high value new and retained tenders for the company whilst raising Morgan Sindall’s profile via exceptional quality tender submissions.

Responsibilities:
As a Pre-Contract Author you will:
- Create business winning documentation that accurately reflects the company as a whole and to a standard that ensures completed proposals meet the bid specifications and guarantees the best possible chance of securing a tender bid.
- Professionally tailor the tenders to the requirements of each individual customer by use of extensive market intelligence research, liaison with internal and external key stakeholders and project managing the bid process end to end on own initiative in a pressured deadline driven environment.
- Maintain the proposal boilerplate, author content, commission relevant graphics and edit text produced by other internal departments, checking drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and formatting.
Educated to GCSE standard in English and Maths and experience of a working in a busy, continually pressured deadline driven working environment is essential as the role demands the ability to handle multiple submissions simultaneously with key task identification and prioritisation.
About the Nuclear Energy Water Team:
Our teams work within the nuclear, energy and water sectors working helping customers them make the most of their existing assets as well as building new assets to continually improve the UK’s energy and water infrastructure. We do this by putting our customers first, using innovative ideas and challenging the status quo.
