Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Infrastructure business for an ambitious and talented Design Engineer to work within our MSES Business Unit.
As a design engineer you will provide specialist design services to Morgan Sindall’s operating divisions and to external customers including feasibility, design, and analysis of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a successful, growing and exciting team.
Responsibilities:
As a Design Engineer you will:
- Provide technical services (engineering, construction) on a project.
- Responsible for carrying out design work or providing other professional services
- Ensure that high standards are maintained from self and others that they interact with within the Nuclear team
The right applicant will have experience on key sectors – Structures, Construction, Buildings ect. Already experienced as a Design Engineer you will have strong academic qualifications ideally a civil engineering (or equivalent) preferably with BEng (Hons) or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) and you will have chartered engineer status. You will have a sound knowledge of construction practises and standards.

Primary Build Capability (PBC)
Morgan Sindall is working with BAE Systems on their £300 million eight-year redevelopment programme, which will transform the submarine building capabilities of the BAE site in Barrow-in-Furness.
