Location: Barrow in Furness

Responsibilities:

As a site manager you will:

  • Coordinate and manage the activities of all site personnel and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. 
  • Lead and motivate the team and liaise effectively with customers.

Already experienced as site manager you will be educated to HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent SMSTS and you will have substantial relevant site experience.  You will have a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and you will have strong leadership skills with the ability to identify and notify development areas within the team.

 

About Barrow:

Nuclear

Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.

 

D58/ D59 Facility:

Morgan Sindall is working with BAE Systems on their £300 million eight-year redevelopment programme, which will transform the submarine building capabilities of the BAE site in Barrow-in-Furness.

In Barrow, BAE systems work on the cutting-edge design, build, test and commissioning of complex submarines and for over a century have equipped the Royal Navy with unrivalled underwater capability.
