Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and talented Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer –to work within our Engineering Solutions Business Unit (Morgan Sindall Infrastructures Internal Design Team) based in Euston.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated Temporary Works Design professionals. They will be responsible for providing specialist design of temporary works to Morgan Sindall’s business units and to external customers. Temporary works design will include excavation support, scaffolding, propping, working platforms, piling mats, falsework and formwork etc.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum BEng(Hons) or equivalent but preferably MEng in relevant subject.
- IEng or CEng with relevant approved industry body
- CSCS card holder
- Extensive experience, understanding and knowledge of subject matter relevant to the discipline within which they operate.
- Extensive experience in the design of temporary works for large scale Civil Engineering projects
- Experience in client (key account) management
- Expected to work to project budgets.
The right applicant will have experience in key sectors including (at least one) – Rail, Highways, Energy, Water, Nuclear or Aviation.
