Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Assistant BIM Implementation Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for Assistant managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

As our Assistant BIM implementation manager you will:

  • Manage and promote BIM implementation and integration within the business.  
  • The role will lead in training and educating colleagues throughout about best practice and requires practical knowledge of BIM modelling software and the ability to focus on the benefits BIM can add, thereby enthusing and supporting others in its adoption and use.  
  • You will be responsible for supporting the development and agreement of clear BIM implementation strategies at tender and project stages, working with our enthusiastic project teams, supply chain and clients.

Already experienced within the construction industry, preferably BIM focused. You will have an understanding of a range of BIM software.  You will have the ability to enthusiastically embrace and manage BIM strategies and technologies. Having recently undertaken and passed our BSI BIM Level 2 accreditation assessment, a knowledge of this and BSI requirements will be useful.

The Slough office is a newly formed division created to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council, by creating a new Thames Valley, Surrey, and West London business unit. Cardiff:

Morgan Sindall has a growing business in South Wales and the West delivering predominantly education sector projects through a number of strong frameworks. Delivering exceptional schemes from £2m - £35m in South Wales we have built a strong track record and now deliver for a number of key repeat business clients. Our region is supported by our Cardiff office and expanding support team. We anticipate further growth through 2017 and beyond and are looking for exiting talented people to join our team.
