Reporting to the HR Business Partner the role purpose is as follows:

To act as the regional expert providing comprehensive HR advice and support throughout a designated region or area of responsibility. To support the delivery of the People Plan whilst delivering and promoting best practice in compliance with MSPS Policy and Process to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of day to day HR operations, applying HR Policies and Process and advising management as required
  • Provide the business with relevant people related information to help achieve objectives
  • Proactively manage the provision of HR metrics, reflecting performance as required and identifying trends and issues arising, proactively challenging and escalating where necessary
  • Effectively manage HR case work to achieve efficient and positive results to issues arising
  • Work within the published Finance Authorisation List (FAL) to ensure that approvals are obtained where required for HR procedures
  • Gather and analyse HR management information to enable the effective performance management of contracts
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of all HR processes, including but not limited to; disciplinary & grievance, performance management, absence management, redundancy, TUPE and on-boarding.
  • Support in the delivery of HR projects in line with the MSPS People Plan
  • Manage requirements to communicate with all employees, ensuring that copies of all relevant documents are retained electronically.
  • Provide guidance to the business on all employee relations issues
  • Update the management team on HR developments
  • Provide excellent customer service in response to queries received and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Advise the business on terms and conditions of employment
  • Actively promote the Diversity & Inclusion policy
