The primary function of the Stores Manager will be to manage and monitor the daily running of the stores in order to ensure the correct and efficient ordering of materials allowing for the correct allocation of costs.
Responsibilities:
- Order Materials, small tools and consumables to enable works to commence
- Ensure the completion of all daily tasks and the logistics of getting materials on and off site.
- Input data on all order details accurately
- Ensure the stores area is operated in a safe and tidy manner
- Maintain stock levels
- Manage and lead the stores team and develop the team.
- Complete environmental and Safety audits within the stores area
- Ensure that our system is maintained with correct data and costs.
- Manage systems to ensure all equipment is ‘fit for purpose’
- Report on a weekly/monthly basis to management team
- Maintain and keep up to date the asset database
- Maintain inspections and calibration register
Requirements:
- Able to plan and prioritise work load
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good working skill in Microsoft Office in particualr Word and Excel

The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
