About The Role

To assist the Procurement function in all administration activities and duties.

Working with the Team to ensure that the administration of purchase orders is at all times optimised. Assist with the process of timely and accurate scheduling of materials in accordance with site requirements.  Monitoring and reporting of key activities.  Ensuring the relationship between the supply chain and the Procurement function is maintained.

  • Processing of requisitions and issue of resulting purchase orders
  • Regularly communicate updates on requisition progress to site
  • Assist with purchasing cards administration
  • Involvement with van stock maintenance
  • Provide support in achieving best value buying solutions
  • Assist with supplier invoice query resolution
  • Report and resolve issues as identified
  • Regular reporting and distribution of activities and outstanding issues
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures
  • Help deliver sustainable savings and service improvements
  • Assist Team members as required with ad-hoc tasks

You will also:

  • Provide support to the Procurement function in achieving best value buying solutions
  • Processing of requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure P2P process is adhered to thus ensuring compliance with the Prompt Payment Code
  • Regular reporting to the Business
  • Key involvement in process and service delivery improvements

About You

  • Previous procurement experience
  • General office experience
  • Microsoft Packages – Word / Excel / Outlook
  • Administrative skills
  • Query resolution
  • Some commercial awareness
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Work in a fast paced managed environment
