About the Project:

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has been awarded the civils and construction management contract on the 20-year Programme and Project Partnership framework with Sellafield Ltd.

At the core of the partnership is collaborative working, with the framework being delivered in conjunction with four other organisations.

The overriding aim of the Programme and Project Partnership is to bring together individuals with the right values and behaviours to deliver world class projects on the Sellafield site. 

Responsibilities

  • Take minutes at construction meetings.
  • Format technical documents ready for final checking.
  • Draft technical queries etc from info provided by the construction team.
  • Assistance with work pack checking prior to issue. 
  • Maintaining construction shared drive.
  • Draft construction documents from outline information ready for final drafting and issue. 
  • Attend daily meetings and update status boards as meeting progresses/throughout the day. 
  • Maintain attendance and distribution list. 
  • Transfer information into a daily project communication and distribute so site status is communicated across the project.
  • Update project heat maps to show areas of main activity.

Requirements:

  • Construction experience
  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised. 
  • Project management or coordination experience
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficient in the use of Visio
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Fast worker in a high paced, busy environment
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, report and present
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Quick learner
  • Confident, engaging with a positive attitude
  • Process driven
