Opportunity:
As a Sub-Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Project Manager managing Mechanically biased minor projects and tasks within the Analytical and Active Area portfolio. Working in compliance with the Sellafield Limited SLPs, ISA CMP and local management arrangements. The position is focused on delivery of mechanical and ventilation works within existing facilities on the Sellafield nuclear licenced site. The works shall be delivered in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with Sellafield Limited Procedures, ISA Collaborative Management Plans and local site arrangements.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree or HNC/HND level in a relevant technical discipline
- Background in mechanical engineering and a working appreciation of the other major engineering disciplines.
- Experienced in project / task delivery, with a track record of safe and successful delivery and the processes and tools employed to achieve this.
- Positive, energetic and resilient approach to driving delivery forward. –
- Demonstrate a professional approach to your work and an appreciation of the considerations of holding responsibility for managing both customer and contract organisation requirements and needs.

Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.
Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA)
The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
