About the Role

Within your role as CAD Technician you will be required to liaise with other team members in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve holistic building solutions to the customer brief, and help manage a multi- disciplined Revit CAD team. You will need to provide a Revit CAD service to our customers that excels by delivering first class service delivery and Promote and achieve Perfect Delivery throughout the team as well as assisting in the training and development of other members of the Revit CAD team.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the development of the Revit CAD team as required by the Revit CAD manager
  • Ensure a safe working environment and that all equipment is fit for purpose reporting any failures to operational management team
  • Promote a culture of Perfect delivery within team
  • Promote and achieve continuous improvement throughout the team
  • Promote and achieve excellent service delivery in order to delight our customers
  • Ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating Revit CAD drawings to the Revit CAD standards
  • Ensure thorough checking and accuracy of deliverables and record documentation
  • Produce schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures
  • Maintain drawing records and ensuring accurate document control
  • Communicate and collaborate with the other Revit CAD disciplines

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to produce 2D M&E deliverables from concept through to fully co-ordinated design for mechanical, pipework, ductwork, public health and electrical systems
  • Ability to priorities own workload and undertake instructions from operational management team
  • Ability to produce drawings accurately and efficiently from survey information
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure and strict deadlines
  • Awareness of project fee spend and deliver commercial objectives
