The opportunity:

To initially support the National Grid DVIP team in Dorset moving to Peak East VIP to support cable installation and decommissioning. We are seeking an experienced hire who also has detailed knowledge of oil filled & XLPe cable systems at 400kV to support ongoing framework projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with XLPe and Oil Filled Cable systems at 132kV - 400kV essential
  • Installation, commissioning and decommissioning experience on above systems
  • National Grid experience essential
  • NSI 5, (Insulated working practices) experience desirable
